To my broader audience (read: my mom and the maybe one other person who regularly checks me out), I’ve decided to bite the bullet and finally start taking the graphic design courses I’ve always wanted to take. My class is GDS 108 and I’ll be weaving coursework in with this blog.
My guess is that none of my new classmates know about my quaint little Etsy shop. It’s called Peetey & Peaches and I specialize in hand lettering. My life philosophy is to celebrate each day as if it is your birthday and I love to create personalized items that make any given day special. Named after my husband and daughter’s nicknames, Peetey & Peaches has grown faster than I ever could have imagined. I “opened” my doors on my birthday last year– October 31– and have had over 50 custom orders and over 4,500 page views! My favorite projects over the last nine months have included invitations and party supplies for first birthday celebrations and weddings. I feel so fortunate to help make these milestones special! Check (and “Like”!) the Peetey & Peaches Facebook page for a more regularly updated ‘portfolio’ of projects.
